We begin with History subject with reference to Ncert Books.

Benefits of learning history.

We can remember what happened yesterday or a week back or even a month back.

But If we need to know about the incidents that happened hundreds of years ago what would we do?.

The answer might be so easy. We may browse the internet or read books to retain that particular information. Is in’t it?

But there’s a question in that too.

How did we came to know about such information that happened long long ago?.

Is there any internet facility or media present at that time? Probably not. Then how did we know about our pasts?.

How could anyone know about what early people ate?, what they wore? Where they lived?. How did they communicate?

By asking these type questions history subject drive us into a great journey by excavating many truths and many mysteries.

So Let’s start with a question.

What can we know about the past?

There are so many things linked to our pasts. By learning about past world we can know about the living conditions of early people. We can also examine how our life is evolving. We can know it’s socially and economically related issues. We can find out about the lives of hunters, herders, farmers, rulers, merchants, priests, crafts persons, artisans, musicians, and scientists. We can also know the play life of early children.

So now it’s time for another question.

What’s the benefit of knowing our pasts?.

By knowing about our pasts we can answer many critical questions like

Who are we?

What makes society work?

How ancient life evolved into modern life?

How uncivilized society turned into a developed society?

We can benefit from the past knowledge which indirectly helps us to continue our life in present.
